KintsuFit’s Student & Youth Athletic Development Program meets every athlete where they are building strength, speed, coordination, and resilience through science-based, age-appropriate training.

From mastering the fundamentals to preparing for the next level, our coaching emphasizes strength and conditioning, speed and agility, and long-term athletic development.

Built for Every Stage of Development

Core (Ages 8 - 12): FunDamental & movement skills

FOCUS: Coordination • Balance • Body Control • Confidence

This stage is critical in building the foundation for all future athletic development. We teach young athletes how to move well and move fast, by emphasizing coordination, body control, and movement quality through engaging, age-appropriate training.

Our approach builds confidence, control, and a strong foundation for long-term performance.

Training Includes:

  • Movement and agility games to develop coordination, quickness, and body control
  • Core and posture work to improve stability, alignment, and efficiency
  • Bodyweight strength and balance training to build a safe, athletic base
  • Team challenges that promote confidence, discipline, and teamwork

Goal: Help young athletes move efficiently, build self-awareness, and develop a lifelong love for training and physical activity.

Elevate (Ages 12 - 14): Athletic development & Strength

Focus: Strength • Technique • Power • Confidence

The Elevate phase bridges the gap between movement and performance.

Each session emphasizes progressive skill development building strength, speed, and power through proper mechanics and age-appropriate progression.

Training Includes:

  • Fundamental resistance and weight training (technique-first approach)
  • Sprint and acceleration mechanics to improve performance
  • Speed, agility, and quickness drills for reaction and control
  • Plyometric and jump progressions to develop explosive power
  • Core stability, balance, and posture for total-body strength

Goal: Equip developing athletes with the strength, mechanics, and confidence needed to transition into advanced performance training.

Elite (Ages 14 - 18): Performance & Power Development

Focus: Strength • Power • Speed • Resilience

The Elite phase prepares athletes to perform at the highest level.

Each session blends advanced strength and conditioning, speed and power development, and cognitive performance training, helping athletes compete with precision and confidence.

Training Includes:

  • Strength and power development using progressive overload
  • Sprinting, change-of-direction, and reaction drills for sport performance
  • Explosive plyometrics and movement efficiency training
  • Mental and cognitive training for faster decision-making
  • Recovery, mobility, and load management education

Goal: Prepare athletes to perform, compete, and recover at their peak, developing the physical and mental edge needed for collegiate and elite-level competition.
